You will develop and lead both commercial and non-commercial research projects, aligned with your expertise and interests in clinical interventions for mood disorders. This is a chance to develop your research potential and contribute to the advancement of mental health care on a national scale.You will collaborate with the University of Exeter Medical School, as well as other national Mental Health Mission sites. This partnership will enable you to drive innovation and excellence in mental health research. As part of this role, you will also contribute to research leadership within Devon Partnership NHS Trust, helping to shape the future of mental health care.The position is based in a modernised, historic listed building, with easy access to university and acute hospital facilities. Additionally, a brand-new,£2M purpose-built Mental Health Clinical Research Facility is set to open in 2026, providing state-of-the-art resources to support your work.Main duties of the jobWe are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Consultant Psychiatrist with a strong interest in mood disorders and clinical research.
