Hywel Dda Radiology is looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated Consultant Radiologist with special interest in Women’s Imaging to join a progressive team of consultants and contribute to the on-going development of radiological services across our Health Board.Main duties of the jobThis appointment is Health Board wide, and the successful candidate would join the radiology team to provide MSK CT, MRI, ultrasound and interventional services to support the Health Board. The candidate will contribute to the wider workload of the department subject to job plan discussions, including general radiology, second on call rotas, teaching of radiology trainees, reporting Radiographers, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff.   • Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
  • On Specialist Register/SpR due to obtain relevant CCT/CESR(CP) within 6 months of interview
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification

Desirable

  • Relevant Higher Degree e.g. MD; PhD; MSc MRCP

Clinical ExperienceEssential

  • Broad based experience in General Radiology
  • Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and participation in CPD
  • Competence and expertise in General Radiology

  • Experience of NHS Wider experience, research and training in providing sub specialty service
  • Evidence of above average performance Additional clinical qualification(s)
