Content Development Lead

We are seeking a Content Development Lead to join our team within the Directorate of Learning Resources at Oxford Brookes University.

As Content Development Lead you will provide direction and leadership for the Library’s Content and Metadata Services team who are responsible for the acquisition, licencing, description and access to library content, and you will be a proactive member of the Learning Resources Directorate Leadership Team working on strategic priorities and service development.

You will have knowledge and experience of library content management and licencing, the scholarly publishing environment, and an understanding of digital library developments, together with an ability to harness innovation and best practice in models of provision. You will be highly collaborative able to work effectively with colleagues to develop a user-focussed service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and drive and resilience to lead and motivate a team.

This is an exciting time to join the University and the Learning Resources Directorate as we work towards the delivery of the University’s Strategy for 2035 where you will make a valuable contribution to our continued success.

The role is based at our Headington Campus in Oxford and is open to hybrid working arrangements in agreement with the line manager and Director of Learning Resources.
