Come build a rewarding career at Rogers and be a driving force behind our success story!Who we’re looking for:The Rogers Brand team is looking for a passionate Content Specialist to support the Corporate (and total) Rogers brand team. This individual will report to the Senior Brand Manager – Social & Content Strategy and lead the execution of content across social media and digital platforms to build consideration and preference for the Rogers Brand. They will work closely with our Lines of Business, Corporate Communications team, Partnerships team, Legal and Agency partners (Creative and Media) to bring integrated content and campaigns to market on brand, on time, and on budget.This role requires a collaborative team player who can think big picture while having strong attention to detail. You will be required to build a strong and consistent brand voice integrated across all social media channels, enhancing the corporate reputation of Rogers. You will be a key member of the Rogers brand team, planning and executing organic and paid social campaigns and initiatives.You have ambition and drive and you are eager to learn. You are creative and have experience developing best-in-class content on social platforms. You come prepared with analytical and competitive facts, and strategic thinking to support your recommendations. You can prioritize and juggle many tasks at once while remaining very organized. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and you are very comfortable in copywriting and understand the value it brings to the overall process. You are a self-starter who can work within a team environment. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of social, digital, and branded content-based marketing.What you’ll do:Develop and deliver a steady stream of engaging, innovative, and relevant content that supports the Rogers brand, credibly reinforces the brand promise, and drives business results & leads through relevant social channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn.Monitor social trends, influencers, and relevant news to identify opportunities to join the social conversation and grow brand visibility (with a particular focus on the millennial audience)Support implementation and growth of the Rogers Brand Platform (including the visual brand identity) across pillars and build on the strategy to ensure all consumer-facing content is aligned to overarching brand strategy, visual identity, and editorial calendarDeliver on Brand, Partnerships, Corporate Social Responsibility communications strategies, plans, and executions through social media and contentManage day-to-day agency and cross-functional relationships to deliver brand communications, execute on content calendar, and support delivery of 360-degree campaignsAdopt a mix of measurement methodologies to track, report, and optimize the performance of all campaign initiatives through social mediaManage social media budget, ensuring appropriate budgets are allocated to deliver optimal efficiency while analyzing traffic trends and post-performance opportunities for future strategy and developmentRegularly communicate project status & timeline updates to internal stakeholdersPublish project post-analysis reports with recommendations for future campaignsEvaluate brand campaigns and content effectiveness and optimize according to KPIsGiven the nature of social media, you will be expected, on occasion, to work additional hours including evenings and weekends as necessary. This may include (but is not limited to) performing live social coverage at events and communicating important and urgent service messaging to Rogers audiences.What you bring:You have at least 3+ years of social media & marketing/communications experienceA University or College degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or in a relevant fieldExperience with social copywriting for large brandsExperience in end-to-end content development, digital production, distribution, and measurementTeam player that displays strong initiative – always hungry to learn and do more!Experience with paid campaign management on Facebook/Instagram and XStrong project management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and prioritiesDeep knowledge of social media platforms including the best way to leverage each platform to connect with our audiences and build our social brandAbility to successfully manage complex organizational structures and relationships, building relationships with cross-functional teamSuperior communication skills – an expert in creating compelling content and copyBilingual (English & French speaking) an assetTechnical Qualifications:Superior communication skills – written and oralWorking knowledge of MS Office suite of productsProficiency with social media management and analytical tools including Facebook Business Manager, EmplifiSocial media content creation experience is an assetWhat’s in it for you?We believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team.
