McMaster University’s Faculty of Social Sciences invites applications for a contractually limited position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology, located on the main university campus for the period covering July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.
Applicants must have an area of specialization in Archaeology.
The successful applicant must have a PhD in Anthropology by the time of the appointment. The applicant must also demonstrate a record of excellence in teaching. The position includes teaching undergraduate classes and some administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will teach seven 3-unit courses, as listed below in 2024-25. Enrolment capacities are in parentheses.
