Responsibilities

As a Cook, you will prepare food for our patients, staff, and visitors, following safe cooking techniques. You will take pride and have a passion for cooking for those who cannot cook for themselves. You understand that most guests at our facility dine with us for a reason, and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about.

To be successful as a Cook, you should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality.

To be successful in this role, you must enjoy leading and helping others and working in a fast-paced, fun environment!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares food for patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques.

  • Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.

  • Maintains kitchen area to state required sanitary standards.

  • Completes all tasks on duty while adhering to safety standards and policies of the hospital.

*This is a PRN role (Per Diem or As Needed) that is non-benefitted, with no set schedule. The rate of pay for this position is $24.01 /hour*

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience:

  • Two (2) years Food Service experience

Minimum Licensure:

  • A Food Handlers Permit Within 30-days of Hire

Pay Range

$24.01 – $24.01 /hour
