Closing Date: July 9, 2024Reporting to the Senior Lead, Indigenous and Community Affairs, the Coordinator, Indigenous and Community Engagement is responsible for Indigenous, local government and public stakeholder engagement support. The primary focus will be on internal and external communications and facilitations relating to key Indigenous and Community Relations activities and projects. This position also involves collaborating with the Communications team to source and develop related content to be shared for broader internal or external audiences. This role will contribute to the development of engagement and consultation strategies and participate in the implementation of Project Indigenous Agreements.To be successful, we are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, who can effectively engage with personnel at all levels of an organization and is proficient in the intricacies and sensitives involved in stakeholder engagement; a self-motivated individual who collaborates well in a team environment, and who has strong organizational, writing, and analytical abilities. This role focuses on public engagement, therefore outstanding presentation skills are vital to successfully capture a wide range of audiences.Join us in the breathtaking Elk Valley of British Columbia.
