Role:
The purpose of this role is to support the National Sales Team by providing administrative support, solving customer service issues as well as working closely with all internal departments with emphasis on Inside Sales, Merchandising and Operations.
Role Responsibilities:
Running various reports to support the National Sales department to track sales, service and inventory levels.
Managing quality claims and reporting for key National Sales customers.
Ensure service issues are resolved by working effectively with a variety of internal departments.
Ensure that accurate contract/bids/order guides are going out to customer units.
Update Source templates for various customers on a regular basis.
Assist in planning and coordination of special events and training sessions.
Additional projects as required by the National Sales Manager or the National Sales Team.
Build reports and provide information as needed to sales management
System support for Source, 360 and Cognos reporting
Analyze sales activity and identify opportunities within customer base
Assist with the organization and follow up of business review including organizing vendor products and info
Co-ordinate and monitor product listings/de-listings and inventory levels where applicable
Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
Support of Government tenders and contract/bid customers
Keeps an up-to-date bid log control sheet of all tenders quoted for audit purposes
Complete all federal government tenders and bids for the region
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):
1 year of general administrative experience or equivalent education and experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Post-secondary education preferred.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other sales and/or industry specific programs.
