Job Description:
The Coordinator, Testing will serve as the contact for testing inquiries at the Pensacola State College Testing Center, Milton Campus. This position manages all academic and certification testing needs. The Coordinator maintains an optimum testing environment for student testing while supporting the validity, integrity, and security of all tests administered on the Milton Campus. The Coordinator will administer and support computer-based and paper-based tests for both academic and certification testing. In addition, the Coordinator will perform general duties related to admissions, student records and financial aid at the Milton Campus. The Coordinator will promote and support student success by collaborating with faculty, and staff of all departments to provide effective student services at the Milton Campus of Pensacola State College. This position reports to the Dean, Milton Campus.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with an associate’s degree; or graduation from high school or GED equivalency and two years’ experience in a collegiate office setting may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required degree. Successful results of a criminal background check.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of§ 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Prefer experience working in a collegiate Testing Center facility; and experience proctoring national and/or certification exams.
Annual Salary Range: $39,500.00 – $44,500.00
