  • Assurer la gestion de l’information et la pharmacovigilance : Recevoir, numériser et documenter tous les renseignements cliniques pertinents en conformité avec les PON, protocoles et lois applicables;
  • • Travailler directement avec les clients internes et externes pour demander des renseignements additionnels ou des précisions, selon les besoins;
  • • Revoir l’information sur les patients dans la base de données et s’assurer que les documents sont exacts, selon les besoins du client; ajouter les rapports post-infusion dans la base de données afin d’assurer qu’elle contienne les bons documents pour aider les patients et répondre au besoin du programme de pharmacovigilance;
  • • Saisir les données dans les bases de données des programmes et le système de gestion de la qualité;
  • • Trier, classer et examiner les télécopies et les documents entrants;
  • • Aider à la traduction des documents;
  • • Effectuer un contrôle de la qualité des rapports d’événements indésirables conformément aux instructions de travail;
  • • Participer aux recherches documentaires et aux activités de révision;
  • • Effectuer des activités de rapprochements avec les clients et partenaires internes et externes;
  • • Faire des suivis et obtenir des précisions au besoin pour assurer que les rapports d’innocuité;
  • • Le coordonnateur de la pharmacovigilance se verra également attribuer d’autres fonctions et tâches au besoin, de temps à autre. • Il ou elle pourrait être appelé à travailler sur demande ou sur appel dans le cadre de son rôle.

Experience et Scolarite Requises:

  • • Un niveau minimum d’études collégiales est requis; un diplôme ou un diplôme avec une concentration en sciences de la vie est un atout important;
  • • Une connaissance de l’industrie de la pharmacovigilance est un atout;
  • • La capacité d’adaptation au changement et la volonté d’acquérir de nouvelles compétences au besoin;
  • • Une expérience dans le domaine médical ou pharmaceutique et de la terminologie médicale est un atout;
  • • Le bilinguisme (anglais-français) est un atout important;
  • • La capacité de travailler un quart de travail de 8 heures entre 8 h et 20 h, le cas échéant.

  • • Excellentes compétences en matière de résolution de problèmes; capacité à communiquer ou à résoudre les problèmes de manière efficace et efficiente
  • • Bonne connaissance de l’informatique (y compris Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint et d’autres programmes de la suite Office)
  • • Un bon accès à l’Internet est nécessaire pour le télétravail.
  • Le candidat retenu aura/pourrait avoir des contacts quotidiens avec des clients, des patients ou des pairs unilingues anglophones d’équipes interfonctionnelles.

.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Information Management and Pharmacovigilance: Receive, scan and document all pertinent clinical information in compliance with SOP/protocol and applicable legislation
  • Work directly with internal and external clients to request additional information or clarification as necessary;
  • Review patient information in database and ensure accurate documentation as per client needs;
  • Attach Post Infusion Reports to databases to ensure proper documentation for patient assistance and drug safety program needs;
  • Data entry into program specific databases and Quality Management System;
  • Sorting, filing and review of incoming faxes and documents;
  • Assist in processing translation of documents;
  • Perform quality check on adverse event reports as directed by the work instructions;
  • Assist in literature search and review activities;
  • Perform reconciliation activities with internal and external clients/partners;
  • Conduct follow-up and clarification seeking activities as required to ensure completeness of safety reports
  • The Drug Safety Coordinator will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time
  • May be required to be on standby/on call as part of this role

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum college level education required. A diploma or degree with a concentration in Life Sciences is a strong asset;
  • Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance industry is an asset
  • Adaptability to change and to learn new skills as required;
  • Experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical field(s), medical terminology is an asset;
  • Bilingual, English/French is a strong asset.
  • Able to work any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM-8 PM, if necessary
