Mission and objectives

Youth Co:Lab positions young people front and center in order to solve the region’s most pressing challenges. Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co:Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship.

Context

The Youth Co:Lab Springboard Programme is an incubation process to leave no one behind on entrepreneurship education. Through our collaboration with industry experts, alumni founders, and investment partners, we curate practical curriculums to support social enterprises to best showcase their impact, and obtain mentorships and opportunities to advance their SDG solutions.

Task description

We are looking for an experienced Online Volunteer to support with the website content copywriting to increase the visibility and profile of Wrap Up, a social enterprise under the Youth Co:Lab portfolio that aims to reduce trash in Karachi by turning non-recyclable wrapper waste into aesthetically pleasing and functional artisanal products.
The Online Volunteer will directly support the social enterprise, under Youth Co:Lab guidance, to create and curate interesting and compelling content for their website to increase sales of the products. Tasks include content creation and graphic design for Wrap Up’s website as well as developing and updating the product catalogue to the website on a weekly basis.
