Job Description:OverviewJob DetailsJob Title: AccountantLocation: HQReporting to: Corporate ControllerJob SummaryPerform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.Job Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of journal entries to ensure general ledger is accurate and complete
• Review and analyze financial information and prepare required accounting reports and statements to support the management team with good decision making.
• Provide support for the auditing processes both internal and external (e.g., airport authorities)
• Prepare daily/monthly banking reconciliations or reports
• Provide support on key accounting processes such as the capital asset subledger
• Assist in annual insurance renewal process
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Other ad hoc job duties

Qualifications and Competencies

• University degree (or equivalent) preferred, relevant area finance / accounting
• 3-5 years relevant work experience
• Excellent understanding of ERP Systems (e.g., SAP)
• Strong analytical skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and easy familiarisation with new IT Tools
• Ability to work under demanding deadlines, flexible, communicative and ability to work in teams
• Good decision-making skills based on facts and analyses
• Good relationship building skills
• Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
• Personal and professional integrity of the highest order
