Corporate Controller in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Controller in the food industry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role involves the management of accounting functions, the preparation of financial reports, and the enforcement of internal controls within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes

• Direct and oversee the preparation of financial reports in compliance with official reporting requirements

• Enforce stringent internal controls in line with SOX – Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient and accurate data management

• Conduct regular auditing procedures to ensure financial information accuracy

• Oversee the preparation of annual audited financial statements

• Utilize Workday ERP for effective management of accounting functions

• Oversee budget processes and perform month-end close activities

• Use CRM and Crystal Reports to maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications efficiently Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in 3M software is essential.

• Mastery of Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services is crucial.

• Must possess strong competency in CRM software.

• Experience with Crystal Reports is necessary.

• Must have a deep understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Experience in Auditing is a must.

• Must be well-versed in Budget Processes.

• Proficiency in Workday and Workday ERP is required.

• Experience with SEC Financial Reporting is necessary.

• Must have a thorough understanding of Internal Control.

• Familiarity with SOX – Sarbanes-Oxley is essential.

• Proficiency in Month-end Close Activities is required.

• Must have experience in Month-end Financial, Month-end Journal Entries, and Month-end Reports.

• Ability to Perform Month-end tasks effectively.

• Experience in preparing Annual Audited Financial Statements is necessary.
