The Un-carrier seeks a highly motivated, hardworking attorney to join its legal team.
Corporate Counsel, Network Operations Legal Compliance will support T-Mobile’s delivery of critical public safety and telecommunications services. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and maintain regulatory compliance policies and procedures. You will also serve as the primary point of contact and advisor to a number of teams within our technology department.
A successful candidate will be ready to jump into action, working closely with other compliance & legal teams and strategic business partners to provide practical, strategic legal guidance and design and implement creative solutions to complex challenges,
What you’ll do in your role.
Provide day-to-day advice and support to the business concerning the operation of our wireless network including emergency communication requirements
Collaborate with business partners and outside counsel to advise on new products and services
Work directly with technology teams to develop and refine compliance with internal policies and federal and state regulations
Partner with our Government Affairs team to monitor upcoming regulatory changes and advise the business on changing compliance needs
The experience you’ll bring.
A law degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing to a state bar
3+ years of experience as an attorney with relevant government, in-house, or law firm experience
A solution-oriented attitude, a bias for action, and a deep curiosity that drives you to understand and help solve complex issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience or deep interest in technology, including network technology, telecommunications, and IT infrastructures
