Business and knowledge development are also encouraged and supported.YOUR ROLE:As an Employment Law and Litigation Management Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for a variety of files and play a key advisory role to clients in their management of employment law risks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation in employment law matters, including: employment contracts, termination documents, releases, compensation / performance management and internal policies;
  • Manage client litigation files independently (without court representation) and with external firms when applicable;
  • Prepare and deliver training on topics related to labor and employment law and litigation management;
  • Collaborate with professionals from the multidisciplinary support team to employers to address our clients’ legal, human resources and payroll matters and challenges.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Member in good standing of the Québec Bar;
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience as a Lawyer in labour law and litigation;
  • Experience in mediation and with the Administrative Labor Tribunal, an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills, bilingualism and autonomy on files;
  • Ability to manage priorities in order to handle multiple files and deadlines simultaneously;
  • Positive and collegial spirit.
