Position description
Role: Country Manager, Ukraine
Reports to: Project Director, Eastern Europe and Central Asia
Location: Ukraine
Contract: Full-time (100%) employment contract freelancer
Special requirements: Fluent in spoken and written English and Ukrainian
Duration: Initially 12 months. The start date is flexible, but the team is looking for support to start as soon as possible.

The role
Our Eastern Europe and Central Asia Team operations are based in London. From there we deliver a portfolio of media projects, and work to ensure they are delivered on time, to the highest possible standard, and in accordance with BBC editorial values and BBC Media Action best practice. The Country Manager will work on the portfolio of country projects and a regional project which aims to provide improved access to high quality, accurate, unbiased, and engaging content that counters disinformation, stimulates debate, exposes corruption, and supports democracy, inclusion, and accountability across Eastern Europe with a focus on Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Armenia.
