Course Administrator

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Course Administrator to join our dynamic team. The course administrator sits within the Academic Programmes Team and the team work closely with the Academic Teaching Team to provide high quality, academic related support services to the Department graduate student community from admission through to graduation.  

The post holder will be responsible for providing dedicated support to an allocated course, however you will be expected to familiarise yourself with the other courses within the Department to provide support as and when required.  You will be responsible for all aspects of administration relating to the allocated course, including but not limited to; admissions, examinations, course administration, handbooks and web support. 

The successful candidate will have proven administrative experience in a comparable role, and evidence of a high standard of written and oral communication, with the ability to produce work to high professional standards. You will have excellent organisational skills and efficient working methods, whilst ensuring that deadlines are met without close supervision.  This is a busy office and is a close-knit team, it is therefore crucial that you have a willingness to help the wider academic administration team to ensure that all courses run smoothly, whilst remaining calm and professional at all times.

This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. The post holder will be based at the Department of Education, 15 Norham Gardens, Oxford.
