The opportunityUniversity of the Arts London (UAL) is looking for an experienced academic to lead the MA Internet Equalities course at the UAL Creative Computing Institute (CCI).You’ll lead the delivery of the MA Internet Equalities course provision, providing academic leadership and management of the course. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of standards, as well as for the design, development and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring this remains relevant, current and consistent with the mission of the Institute and the vision for the course.You’ll oversee all areas of teaching, learning and assessment of students, and will also undertake effective monitoring of the course and lead enhancement activities, helping to facilitate course development and implement key policies and procedures.In addition to this, you’ll undertake teaching duties as appropriate to the requirements of the course and your areas of expertise.If you’re an interdisciplinary academic, experienced in academic leadership and course management, then this role offers a fantastic platform to develop your career.About youYou’ll possess demonstrable experience in teaching and assessment in Higher Education and a track record of professional and/or academic practice across teaching and research in Creative Computing.You’ll have experience of course/curriculum leadership and management in an area related to creative computing at HE level, as well as significant knowledge of a specialism relevant to the mission of the CCI in human computer interaction, creative ai and digital platforms, as well as areas of creative coding, physical computing, computational technologies and platforms, VR/XR and other related disciplines.A PhD in a relevant Creative Computing field is essential, along with evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice.We are UALUAL offers an extensive range of courses in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.
