Job descriptionWe are working with a ‘good’ secondary school in Wigan, who are recruiting for a cover supervisor to support them with their day to day cover in the next academic year. The role will start in September and will continue until May when the year 11 students go on study leave. They would like all their short term cover (up to three days absence) to be carried out by enthusiastic, lively graduates, (ideally in a curriculum subject) who have a genuine interest in education. During the course of the academic year, absence periods can be high (seasonal colds, staff courses, etc) and there is the opportunity for lots of regular work in this school.Cover Supervisor work provides a great platform for graduates both with practical experience, and also knowledge to create attractive, engaging personal statements and applications.
