Aspire People is a trusted education recruitment agency with a reputation for excellence in supporting schools and educational professionals across the UK. We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and motivated Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Coleshill.Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of the school in the absence of teachers. You will supervise and manage the classroom, ensuring students remain on task and continue to make progress with their learning. The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and able to manage student behavior effectively.Key Responsibilities:Supervise students in the absence of their usual class teacher, ensuring they are engaged with their work.
Follow lesson plans and deliver them in a clear and structured manner.
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring they understand their work and remain focused.
Report any issues regarding student behavior or academic progress to relevant staff members.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:A passion for working with young people and supporting their development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students and staff.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and needs.
Previous experience in a school setting.
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase one through Aspire People.
A relevant degree.
