The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Cover Supervisor to work in a school setting in Hereford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school by providing cover for absent teachers and ensuring that students continue to receive quality education.
Responsibilities:
– Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, following the school’s policies and procedures.
– Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across various subjects, ensuring they remain engaged and motivated.
– Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing student behaviour effectively and promoting a culture of respect and cooperation.
– Support students in their learning by offering guidance and assistance, fostering their academic progress and personal development.
– Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity and consistency in the educational experience of students.
Requirements:
– A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills, allowing for the smooth facilitation of lessons and classroom management.

– A background in education or previous experience working with young people would be advantageous, but not essential.
