1542690Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Primary SEMH school in Oakwood Leeds, West Yorkshire to appoint a open-minded and proactive Cover supervisor.The school supports pupils aged between 4 and 11 years old, with a wide range of SEN, including autism, moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, hearing and visual impairments, specific genetic conditions, physical difficulties, specific communication and language difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate has previous experience of working with Complex Communication Needs and Autism.Ideal candidates will have previous experience of teaching in schools or supporting lessons in either a mainstream, provisional or special needs setting.As a Cover supervisor, your main duties will include managing behaviour of the students, keeping children on task within lessons, effectively delivering the lesson to the class using all resources provided, reviewing lessons and reporting evidence back to the permanent teacher and collaborating with support staff to ensure all learning is successful.Benefits:

Requirements

• Honours Degree in relevant subject
• A passion for success and quality teaching
• 2 x references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record in classroom management
• Desirable – Team Teach
