15426991Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Secondary SEMH school in East Leeds, West Yorkshire to appoint a open-minded and proactive Cover supervisor.This Secondary SEMH school, supports pupils aged between 11 and 16 years old, with a wide range of SEN, such as Autism, hearing and visual impairments, specific genetic conditions, specific communication and language difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs.Ideal candidates will have previous experience of teaching in schools or supporting lessons in either a mainstream, provisional or special needs setting.As a Cover supervisor, your main duties will include managing behaviour of the students, keeping children on task within lessons, effectively delivering the lesson to the class using all resources provided, reviewing lessons and reporting evidence back to the permanent teacher and collaborating with support staff to ensure all learning is successful.Benefits:

• Work hours: 8:30am – 3:20pm

Requirements

• Honours Degree in relevant subject
• A passion for success and quality teaching
• 2 x references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record in classroom management
• Desirable – Team Teach
