26092314Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working in partnership with a School based in Sheffield to appoint a bank of Cover Supervisors both in Full time and Part time positions. Ideal candidates will have previous experience of teaching in schools or supporting lessons in either a mainstream, provisional or special needs setting.The role of a Cover Supervisor encompasses duties that may include managing behaviour of the students, keeping children on task within lessons, effectively delivering the lesson to the class using all resources provided, reviewing lessons and reporting evidence back to the permanent teacher and collaborating with support staff to ensure all learning is successful.The academy provides the students with a good education. There are particular, significant strengths in its excellent provision for the students’ social, moral, spiritual and cultural development and in the quality of the support given to individual students who either need additional help, or who are at risk of underachieving.Working as a Cover Supervisor can provide valuable insight for candidates wishing to develop a career in Teaching or permanent work in a support role in schools.Requirements:

• Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
• 2 x references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record
• A passion for success
• Experience of managing behaviour in an educational setting
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
