Hyde Park House Permanent positions 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year Grade F (£31,364 – £33,945) per annumOn Course South West is looking for excellent adult education tutors!Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge and empowering others?On Course South West is Plymouth City Council’s Adult Learning Provider and is the fastest growing adult education provider in the city. We are committed to adult skills development and are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to join our team and help adults develop the skills and qualifications they need to thrive in every day life, to prepare for work or to develop knowledge to improve skills.Tutor vacanciesWe are looking for 3 tutors with expertise in the following areas:· Business and Accountancy· Digital Skills and ICT· Arts and HumanitiesEach vacancy is for a full-time position with a teaching commitment of 828 hours during the academic year. Each tutor will also be expected to deliver employability skills related to their area. Please state on your application which area you are applying for.What you’ll do:

• Design and deliver engaging learning programs for adult learners.
• Provide clear and concise explanations of complex topics from your area of expertise.
• Assess learner progress and offer individualized support.
• Motivate and inspire learners to achieve their goals.

What you’ll bring:

• A degree or other qualifications in a related subject.
• Experience in teaching or assessing in your chosen subject area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for adult education and a commitment to learner success.
• The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
