Community Support Worker (CSW) Instructor

We (Discovery Community College) have an opening for an onsite Instructor in our

Community Support Worker program based from our Nanaimo campus.

The wage range for this position would be $30 to $33 per hour depending on experience.

You will instruct courses in the CSW program within the guidelines, and using the curriculum and mentoring provided by the college.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have:

• Certificate related to community support work

  AND

• 24 months of related occupational experience

  OR

• 10 years of related occupational experience

  Previous teaching experience would be an asset, and good computer knowledge (Microsoft 365, Excel, Microsoft Teams etc) would be essential.
