Salary: $19/hr.

Express Employment is seeking a customer advocate/customer service representative for the contact center of a health insurance company. Join an award-winning team! Job duties include:

  • Receive, research, educate on, and respond to inquiries from members, healthcare providers, and team members relating to benefit, claim or enrollment queries on our lines of business
  • Research and respond to telephone and electronic inquiries in the call center
  • Document interactions through the internal tracking system, which may include initiating inquiries, logging address changes, completing duplicate or replacement identification card requests, entering primary care physician change requests, checking tracers, interpreting policy provisions, conducting pharmacy research, and written communications
  • Help educate and answer questions regarding member benefits and claims
  • Maintain performance guidelines for member satisfaction, inquiry accuracy, and productivity

Requirements:

  • Previous work history with longevity in contact/call center, customer service, insurance, and/or medical office
  • Phenomenal verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, using multiple software applications simultaneously, and high comfort level in intranet/internet navigation
  • Problem solving and basic math skills
  • Ability to effectively help people through different health and benefits scenarios, while maintaining professionalism and compassion

Other details:

  • Onsite position at Meridian campus
  • Must attend a 6-week, paid training class Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm onsite starting on 9/29/2025
  • Once training is complete, must be able to work any assigned schedule within the hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm
  • May be some overtime volunteer opportunity; weekend scheduling is not anticipated
  • Pay rate is $19/hr.
  • Position is temporary and expected to end on 01/30/2026
