Customer Service Associate in West Columbia, South Carolina

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for answering customer inquires at an industrial hardware company. The individual will work at the counter and greet customers as they come in the building.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer general phone line and direct calls to other parts of office as needed

  • Responsible for order processing of all orders, in person and over the phone

  • Billing orders and applying payment for customers

  • Administrative duties for front of house

  • Tracking orders

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have 2+ years of in-person customer service experience, experience in an industrial retail setting or construction highly desired

  • Must have 2+ years of office administrative experience

  • Order processing experience strongly preferred

  • Must have experience working with purchase orders or ordering parts/equipment
