Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Customer Service Teams interact with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions. They take and process transactions via phone, internet and correspondence from customers and representatives and respond to inquiries about TE’s products or services. They may promote and sell our company’s products or services as well as investigate and resolve customer complaints. A key area of focus is to develop strong business relationships via TE’s Extraordinary Customer Experience strategy.
You will be responsible for the commercial and technical support of OEMs, direct customers and distributors in the assigned sales territory.
Location: Bensheim
Your main tasks
First point of contact for customers with technical questions and escalations
Processing / checking customer inquiries and orders, converting standards and customer product specifications
Quotation preparation and tracking
Order and contract processing
Communication with production planning, warehouse, pricing department, product management, e.g. in England, USA, Mexico, France, India
Ensuring all processes (e.g. in accordance with TESOG and ADM DOA specifications) from quotation preparation to delivery and invoicing, if necessary clarification of unpaid invoices and price differences incl. creation of credit and debit notes
Processing complaints in SAP / TECHS
Participation in projects to increase customer satisfaction and delivery reliability through proactive communication with our customers and internally (e.g. EDI, safety stock, forecast, consignment stock)
Supporting the sales team
Participation in the compliance/achievement of departmental targets
Participation in the continuous improvement of processes (e.g. TEOA)
Your ideal background
Commercial education (Finished Apprenticeship) and additional qualifications (e.g. logistics, export, languages)
German & English written and spoken fluent
Additional languages, e.g. French is a plus
Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
High level of analytical thinking to optimize all order to cash processes (order – payment)
Teamplayer
Experience with tools such as SAP PR2/S4Hana is preferred; we provide training opportunities for motivated learners
Very good communication skills
