Description Our company, based in the transport industry in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual for a Customer Service role. In this position, you will play a key role in coordinating weather-related logistics and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with transportation personnel to implement necessary route or schedule changes due to weather conditions.

• Maintain an accurate record of incidents related to weather and its impact on our operations.

• Use your knowledge of meteorology to monitor weather forecasts affecting our transportation routes and destinations.

• Provide essential support to drivers navigating adverse weather conditions.

• Effectively communicate complex weather-related information to drivers, dispatchers, and other relevant staff.

• Evaluate potential risks and impacts of adverse weather conditions on our transportation operations.

• Use Microsoft Word and the Internet to perform data entry tasks and uphold customer service standards. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role within the transport industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word is mandatory for this role.

• Strong internet skills are required.

• Exceptional customer service skills are a prerequisite for this position.
