Customer Service Clerk /Warranty Dept.
Manufacturing company in North Las Vegas, Nevada is looking for an experienced Customer Service/Warranty Clerk.
The candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of the company. This involves answering inquiries, addressing complaints, providing product/service information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The CSR is expected to provide excellent service, maintain a professional demeanor, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Answer inbound calls, emails, or chat messages from customers.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
Assist customers in resolving issues or concerns.
Provide detailed information on products and services.
Problem Resolution:
Identify and troubleshoot customer problems.
Escalate complex issues to higher management or specialized departments.
Follow up on customer issues to ensure resolution.
Record Keeping:
Document all customer interactions in the CRM system.
Maintain accurate records of customer details and interactions.
Quality Assurance:
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Meet performance targets such as call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, and resolution rates.
Participate in training and development programs to improve service quality.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Provide feedback to management on customer trends and service issues.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree in Business, Communication, or related field is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or related field preferred.
Experience with CRM software and contact center technology is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
Working Conditions:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 to $20.00per hour DOE
Shift:
8 hour shift – Monday thru Friday
