Marion company seeking a Customer Service Dispatcher
8: 00-5: 00 M-F First Saturday of the month 9: 00-Noon
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Customer Service Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching service calls efficiently to ensure timely delivery of services. This person will be taking incoming calls from Customers and act as a liaison by providing product/service information and resolve emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. As a Customer Service Dispatcher, this person will play a crucial role in optimizing transportation operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties:
– Take incoming telephone calls from our Customers to assist them in product/service information
– Coordinate and schedule service calls and deliveries with technicians and drivers
– Utilize transportation management systems to track and manage service orders
– Monitor GPS systems to track the location of service vehicles
– Assist in transportation planning to optimize routes and schedules
– Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service status
– Analyze data to improve dispatching efficiency and service delivery
– Perform data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a similar role in either Customer Care/Dispatch
– Proficiency in using transportation management systems and GPS technology
– Strong analytical skills to analyze data and optimize dispatching processes
– Ability to type accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks
– Previous telephone Customer Service is a plus
