Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develops customer contacts to build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Prepares proposals/quotes to customers based on receipt of Request for quotes (RFQs).
  • Collaborates closely with colleagues in sales and specialists in other departments on questions relating to technical issues, products, services, pricing etc. during proposal and order execution.
  • Interacts directly with clients to define scope and pricing of service and to resolve order and delivery issues.
  • Handles claims, minimizing potential negative impact towards our customer.
  • Follows-up on Overdue receivables.
  • Ensures compliance with Export control regulations when dealing with embargo countries.
  • Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.
  • Establishes effective communications with stakeholders including customers and FLSmidth teams.
  • Communicates and influences at a senior level and across the Company.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Able to perform essential duties with limited supervision.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills (written and electronic).
  • Possess an understanding of commercial, financial and contract terms.
  • Able to read documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Flexibility for on-site and online work.
