Customer Service Representative – $45k-$50k/year

A growing company in the Houston area is searching for a Customer Service Representative to handle customer inquiries, problem resolution, and relationship building. This is a direct hire, full-time position in a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate records and supporting company growth initiatives. Salary and Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with breaks and lunch
Direct Hire, Full-Time Position
$45,000 – $55,000 annually (based on experience)
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO

Responsibilities:

Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional manner
Research and resolve customer issues promptly and accurately
Maintain detailed customer records and interactions in CRM system (Salesforce preferred)
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and improve processes
Provide product and service information to customers and prospects
Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services that benefit customers
Process customer requests including account changes, billing inquiries, and service modifications
Follow up on customer interactions to ensure complete resolution
Maintain current knowledge of company products, services, and policies
Meet individual and team performance metrics and goals
Perform other duties as assigned to support customer service excellence

Required Skills:

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Typing speed of 40+ WPM
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Professional demeanor in all customer interactions
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications & Requirements

High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years of customer service experience in a professional environment
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous experience in call center or customer support environment preferred
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
