Customer Service Representative in Anderson, South Carolina

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Metal Fabrication industry, based in Anderson, South Carolina. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing customer and vendor interactions, processing orders, and facilitating efficient sales operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer and vendor inquiries via phone and email, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

• Foster consultative relationships with customers, understanding their unique requirements, and converting these into potential sales opportunities.

• Oversee the accurate entry of sales orders, ensuring all details are correct and in line with customer requests.

• Manage the processing of purchase orders in alignment with the corresponding sales orders.

• Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to follow up on leads and manage customer projects effectively.

• Coordinate with vendors to secure quotes within specified time frames.

• Negotiate with vendors on pricing and lead times to establish competitive sales prices for customer quotes.

• Assist in sourcing alternative suppliers to reduce costs and lead times, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and order entry tasks.

• Schedule appointments in response to inbound and outbound calls. Requirements • Proficiency in Answering Inbound Calls with an emphasis on customer care and satisfaction

• Extensive experience in Call Center Customer Service, demonstrating the ability to manage high call volumes

• Strong Customer Service skills, including the ability to resolve complaints and improve customer loyalty

• Proficient in Data Entry, ensuring accurate and efficient information processing

• Excellent Email Correspondence skills, with the ability to professionally and effectively communicate with customers

• Experience with both Inbound and Outbound Calls, maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create and edit customer correspondence and documents

• Experience in Order Entry, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders
