Customer Service Representative in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Description

This person will be responsible for customer contact in the areas of customer service and billing, performing billing activities within assigned parameters, successfully resolving escalated billing issues, validating usage information for more complex rate groups

Responsibilities include resolving questions and problems and escalating more complex issues for resolution

Responsible for performing standardized tasks associated with assigned billing parameters, which may include: summary billing, billing exceptions, inaccurate metering, non-meter billing set-up, electronic meter reads, contract processing

Analyze and respond to moderately complex or escalated customer inquiries

May be required to adapt standard procedures and processes to resolve customer issues

Responsible for understanding and applying rate tariffs; keeps current on rate changes, communicates with internal and external customers as necessary

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.
