We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is dedicated to providing excellent service to our constituents, donors, and partners.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline ambassador of our organization, assisting members, donors, and community partners with inquiries, program information, and support services. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about helping others and creating positive experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and online chat, providing information about our programs, services, and initiatives.

  • Assist donors with contributions, recurring donations, and tax-related questions.

  • Provide guidance and support to community members seeking assistance from our programs.

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of concerns.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

  • Help coordinate outreach efforts to promote events, fundraising campaigns, and volunteer opportunities.

  • Identify and escalate urgent issues to the appropriate department or leadership.

  • Support administrative tasks such as processing applications, updating databases, and assisting with reports.

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, nonprofit work, or community engagement.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (experience with donor management software is a plus).

  • Bilingual skills are a plus, depending on the community served.
