Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Health Insurance industry, located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will be tasked with managing customer interactions, maintaining comprehensive customer records, and efficiently handling customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage inbound phone calls in a call center environment from customers including members, providers, and facilities
• Identify and address customer needs, such as benefit and eligibility inquiries, billing and payment issues, treatment authorizations, explanation of benefits, and claims information
• Employ critical thinking skills to solve customer concerns and problems
• Maintain positive customer relationships by providing information and answering questions in a supportive manner
• Actively listen and ask relevant questions to identify specific customer questions or issues, while documenting necessary information in computer systems
• Navigate through complex computer systems to determine the issue status and provide appropriate responses to callers
• Work collaboratively with support resources to resolve customer issues and address escalated matters
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word to enter data and manage customer information
• Schedule appointments and manage email correspondence as part of customer service delivery. Requirements • Proven experience in answering inbound calls
• Prior experience in a call center customer service role
• Demonstrated ability in delivering high-quality customer service
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Experience in handling email correspondence with detail orientation
• Familiarity with both inbound and outbound call handling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in handling order entries efficiently
• Ability to schedule appointments in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Knowledge of the health insurance industry is preferred TalentMatch®
