Robert Half is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a company in Fairfax, VA. As a vital part of our team, you will be in charge of handling customer inquiries, processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and monitoring customer accounts.

** Looking to fill position ASAP! This Customer Service Representative role will be working onsite M-F.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional manner

• Enter customer data accurately into the system

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to maintain and update customer records

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Respond to customer inquiries via email and over the phone

• Schedule appointments as required

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times

• Complete order entries accurately and promptly

• Use dispatching and logistics skills to manage customer service processes

Requirements

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls

• Experience in call center customer service

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy

• Experience in email correspondence

• Knowledge of handling both inbound and outbound calls

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience in order entry

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations

• High level of patience and empathy towards customers

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a relevant field will be appreciated
