Description We are offering a role in the financial services industry, located in Fairfax, Virginia. We are accepting applications for a Customer Service Representative position in our payment processing department. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and will operate on-site during standard working hours.

Responsibilities:

• Handling and processing customer payments promptly and accurately

• Keeping detailed and accurate records of customer accounts

• Following up on past due payments via phone calls, emails, and letters

• Updating customer account information and performing data entry tasks

• Delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer inquiries efficiently

• Sending out notices regarding overdue payments through various channels such as email, voicemail, and mail

• Learning and adapting to new tasks and responsibilities

• Using Office Suite for various tasks and responsibilities

• Contributing to the collections process when needed, although previous experience in this area is not a requirement. Requirements • A minimum of 1 year experience in a Customer Service role is required.

• Proven experience in Consumer Collections is necessary.

• Proficiency in Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is mandatory.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute positively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes.
