Description
We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Greenwich, Connecticut, with a focus on supporting our Collections team. This role is essential in maintaining strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries, assisting with payment issues, and ensuring customer accounts are accurately updated.
Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound calls with a professional and empathetic approach, assisting customers with payment concerns or account inquiries.
• Process and monitor customer tickets through our internal system, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Communicate with customers via email and phone to provide payment reminders, address billing disputes, and offer solutions.
• Update and maintain customer account information, including payment status and account notes.
• Collaborate closely with the Collections team to provide accurate information on overdue accounts and payment arrangements.
• Clearly explain service charges, late fees, and payment terms, ensuring customers understand their account status.
Requirements
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing customer service
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Ability to maintain professional email correspondence with customers
• Skilled in order entry and processing customer orders accurately
• Capability to schedule appointments efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work in different shifts or extended hours if required
• Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other related applications
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in related fields would be a plus
