Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

We are looking for diligent Customer Service Representatives to be a part of our team in the construction industry located in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling both inbound and outbound calls, managing complaints, and directing issues to the appropriate parties. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is on-site. We have the following shifts available.

  • Mon-Fri 8-5pm

  • Mon-Fri 10-7pm

  • Mon – Fri 12-9pm

  • Fri-Mon 10am-9pm

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service through handling incoming and outbound calls efficiently.

• Addressing customer complaints and ensuring they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.

• Directing complex issues and inquiries to the appropriate party for resolution.

• Assisting in coordinating and confirming customer appointments.

• Providing post-sales support and information to customers.

• Assisting in generating accurate and competitive sales quotations.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions based on account status.

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and processing customer credit applications.

Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a customer service related role, preferably within the construction or contractor industry

• Proficient in providing excellent customer service, including handling customer inquiries and complaints effectively

• Ability to produce accurate quotations and possess strong sales skills

• Experience in offering post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction

• Must be capable of confirming and coordinating appointments as per schedule

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills to handle customer issues efficiently

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to the role

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
