Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role is remote, allowing you to work from any location within the Central Mountain and Pacific Time Zones. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of an organization that leverages technology to provide care and improve health outcomes for millions of people.
Responsibilities:
• Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers, demonstrating quality care and concern.
• Process customer inquiries, accurately maintaining customer records and accounts.
• Handle complex and sensitive information exchange with patients, acting as their advocate.
• Assist other representatives and supervisors in managing daily paperwork to resolve and document patient issues.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to financial, medical, and legal risks based on data collected during customer interactions.
• Use company systems to meet customer needs such as scheduling appointments, authorizing claims, verifying eligibility benefits, and handling appeals.
• Translate oral information into concise and accurate written documentation as per guidelines.
• Assist new or potential members in selecting a Primary Care Physician (PCP) and providing general information about the medical group.
• Multitask between data entry, phone etiquette, and resource utilization, while maintaining proper guidelines.
• Contribute to meeting the performance goals of the position in areas such as patient satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
• Skilled in Data Entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to properly manage Documentation, maintaining organization and confidentiality
• Experience in Training staff or team members, ensuring understanding of procedures and policies
• Knowledge of Procedures and Policy implementation, ensuring compliance with company standards
• Capability to Schedule Appointments efficiently and accurately
• Experience with Invoice preparation and management, ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Understanding of Quality management principles and the ability to implement them in work processes
• Familiarity with About Time software, or similar time management tools
• Proficient Internet navigation skills, for research and communication purposes
• Knowledge of Medical Coverage policies and procedures, to assist customers with inquiries
• Ability to manage Benefit Functions, including paperwork and claim administration
• Comfortable with Paperwork management, ensuring all forms are correctly filled out and filed
• Experience in Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required by the role
• Knowledge of Claim Administration procedures, ensuring all claims are processed in a timely manner
• Proficiency in English Language, both written and spoken
• Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Proficiency in Spanish Language, both written and spoken, is a plus
• Regular Attendance is required, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, for various tasks including data entry and communication
• Experience in Interviewing potential candidates or customers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with HealthCare.gov policies and procedures, to assist customers with inquiries
• Experience with Authorizations procedures, ensuring all tasks are approved and documented
