Description
We are in search of a Customer Service Representative based in LITTLETON, Colorado, United States, in the industry of customer service. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with handling a variety of customer service duties, including managing customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing customer applications.
Responsibilities
• Manage a subset of clients and conduct certain sales use/tax filings on behalf of the customer using the proprietary system.
• Utilize the ZenDesk ticketing system to respond to customer inquiries about tax payments or previous actions.
• Assist customers who have received notices from the government, helping them understand the situation and keep them updated on progress.
• Correct any errors from previous periods by putting an amendment in place and requesting a new one for the customer.
• Communicate with customers through ZenDesk, updating them on the status of their cases and answering any incoming and outgoing phone calls.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.
• Learn how to complete an amendment for customers.
• Use skills in Microsoft Excel and Database Management to maintain and update customer records.
• Utilize the skills of Inbound Outbound Calls and Email Correspondence to maintain effective communication with customers.
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their requests, even if there is no new update yet.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service role
• Strong proficiency in data entry and database management
• Experience with email correspondence and inbound/outbound calls
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its various applications
• Previous experience handling customer service tools such as Zendesk and ticketing systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of problem-solving and conflict resolution
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
