Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Matthews, North Carolina. In this role, you will be at the forefront of customer interaction, handling queries, processing orders, and maintaining customer records. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing vital support to our team in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer orders and quotes efficiently and accurately
• Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing technical support and problem-solving assistance as needed
• Maintain and update customer records within our SAP B1 system
• Handle both inbound and outbound calls, as well as email correspondence, as part of our customer service strategy
• Collaborate with sales and account managers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and other administrative tasks
• Schedule appointments and manage customer accounts as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to our overall customer service strategy
• Assist in inside sales and order entry tasks as required
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in customer service or call center roles
• Ability to answer inbound calls and manage inbound/outbound calls
• Strong communication skills for email correspondence
• Data entry skills with high accuracy
• Experience with order entry
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively
• Knowledge of SAP B1 – Business One
• Previous experience in inside sales
• Ability to provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and solving problems professionally and efficiently
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
• Strong multitasking skills, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
