Customer Service Representative in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry. Based in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer communications and queries, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Address and resolve patient inquiries effectively and in a timely manner

• Maintain and update patient records with high accuracy

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

• Provide services to both internal and external customers, exchanging complex and sensitive information

• Assist in resolving and/or documenting patient issues as needed

• Recognize financial, medical, and legal risks based on data collected during customer interactions and follow appropriate procedures

• Use company systems to manage customer needs such as appointments, authorizations, claims, invoices, eligibility, benefits, and appeals

• Translate oral information into concise and accurate written documentation as per guidelines

• Help new or potential members in the choice of Primary Care Physician and provide general information about the medical group

• Assist Telehealth Nurses as necessary. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in customer service, including handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly

• Proficiency in data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and timely input of information into the system

• Experience in handling documentation, including filing and maintaining records systematically

• Ability to provide training to new team members, ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies

• Familiarity with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings

• Experience in managing invoices, including verifying details and ensuring timely payments

• Strong focus on quality, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard

• Proficiency in using internet-based tools and platforms

• Knowledge of medical coverage options and ability to explain these to customers effectively

• Experience in managing benefit functions, including processing claims and handling paperwork

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks as required

• Experience in claim administration, including processing and tracking claims

• Fluency in English and Spanish languages

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Regular and reliable attendance, demonstrating commitment and professionalism

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience in interviewing, demonstrating the ability to assess candidates effectively

• Familiarity with HealthCare.gov and ability to navigate the platform efficiently

• Experience in handling authorizations, including processing and tracking approvals

• Ability to measure and report on key performance metrics, providing insights into service performance. TalentMatch®
