Customer Service Representative in Pasadena, California

Description

We are on the search for a Customer Service Representative to become a vital part of our team, based in Pasadena, California. In this role, your main focus will be handling customer inquiries and concerns, processing applications, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions. Responsibilities

• Take the lead in conducting outreach calls to provide information to individuals about emergency readiness and offer support to those affected.

• Act as the first point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries regarding disaster preparedness and other topics.

• Uphold the responsibility of data entry, with a focus on processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Show proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word for order entry and email correspondence.

• Ensure all customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions are accurately documented in the designated database.

• Show commitment to ongoing learning by participating in training sessions to stay updated on scripts and best practices.

• Display adherence to established protocols, guidelines, and procedures when handling calls.

• Manage and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate actions as required.

Requirements

Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls

• Familiarity with call center customer service best practices

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Comfortable with data entry tasks

• Capable of detail oriented email correspondence

• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word

• Experience with order entry

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Experience in a heavily outbound call environment would be a plus
