We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Pasadena, California. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be in charge of conducting outbound calls, providing information and assistance to clients, maintaining accurate records, adhering to established procedures, and participating in training sessions. Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls to inform and offer assistance to individuals or communities

• Respond to inquiries regarding emergency procedures, disaster readiness, and other relevant topics

• Document all interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately in the designated database

• Follow established protocols, guidelines, and operating procedures for handling calls

• Participate in training sessions to update on talking points, scripts, and best practices

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and email correspondence

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring excellent customer service

• Maintain and update customer records in the system

• Schedule appointments as required, ensuring efficient order entry and service delivery.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with answering inbound calls and handling inbound/outbound calls

• Previous work experience in a call center customer service role

• Ability to handle data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Proficiency in written communication for email correspondence

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Experience with order entry processes

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and handle customer complaints professionally

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and software applications

• High school diploma or equivalent, higher education or certification in relevant field is a plus.
