We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a vital part of our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry. This role will be based in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be instrumental in handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and is primarily remote.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records.

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as required.

• Perform data entry tasks using double monitors while adhering to guidelines.

• Exchange complex and sensitive information with internal and external customers while acting as a patient advocate.

• Assist other Patient Support Center Representatives and Supervisors with daily paperwork load to resolve and/or document patient issues.

• Identify financial, medical, and legal risks based on data collected during customer interactions and follow appropriate procedures.

• Utilize systems to resolve customer needs such as appointments, authorizations, claims, invoices, eligibility, benefits, and appeals.

• Translate oral information into concise and accurate written documentation as per guidelines.

• Assist new or potential members in the choice of a Primary Care Physician (PCP) and provide general information about the medical group.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in customer service within the healthcare industry

• Proficiency in data entry and management of electronic documentation

• Ability to train others on procedures and policies

• Capable of scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Experience in invoice processing and quality control

• Knowledge of medical coverage, benefit functions, and claim administration

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial duties and handle paperwork efficiently

• Excellent command of English and Spanish languages

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Regular and punctual attendance is required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and internet usage

• Previous experience in interviewing, policy making and authorizations

• Familiarity with HealthCare.gov and related healthcare metrics

• Understanding of medical terminologies and procedures

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient-centric attitude

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
