Customer Service Representative in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in the government sector, based in Richmond, Virginia. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, manage incoming calls, and perform data entry tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to incoming customer calls in a timely and efficient manner.

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries.

• Maintain and update customer records accurately.

• Handle data entry tasks, ensuring all customer information is up-to-date and accurate.

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls as necessary.

• Ensure efficient order entry and schedule appointments as required.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and correspondence.

• Manage email correspondence with customers, ensuring timely responses. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating a clear and detail-oriented communication style.

• Previous experience in a call center customer service role, with a focus on excellent customer satisfaction.

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer queries and complaints.

• Solid data entry skills, ensuring accurate and timely input of information into the system.

• Capability to manage email correspondence effectively, providing prompt and accurate responses.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with the ability to use these tools for data management and document creation.

• Familiarity with order entry processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
